Guillemin couplings

GUILLEMIN connectors are used for transporting and pumping liquids, powders, granules. They are symmetrical joints designed according to EN 14420-8. It is made of aluminum, stainless steel AISI316, brass and polypropylene.As standard, the joints are made of aluminum with white NBR rubber seal (operating temperature: from -10°C to +80°C)or AISI 316 stainless steel with black FKM rubber – Viton (operating temperature: -10°C to +180°C) or AISI 316 stainless steel with black FKM rubber – Viton (operating temperature: -10°C to +180°C). Also GUILLEMIN connectors are made of brass and polypropylene. The maximum working pressure of the GUILLEMIN connectors is 16 bar. 

GUILLEMIN connectors are designed for use in industrial installations, transferring, loading and unloading liquid and dry bulk materials. Couplings were first designed in France and meet the standards of EN 14420-8 / NF E 29-572. Two sides of the same with two loops are closed by simply connecting them with seals directed towards each other and turning the locking rings so that the loops are tightly connected. To tighten the connection, turn the locking rings with a hook wrench for GUILLEMIN connectors, 1/4 of the turn. Connectors are not suitable for steam and other gases. 

The size of the coupling device is indicated by its nominal diameter DN (from DN20 to DN150) and the associated gaps between the loops.
