Sliding bearings

The slip bearing is a type of bearing, which consists entirely of the bearing surface and there are no rolling elements. Spherical simple slip bearings are two-piece simple bearings. They do not have rolling elements, but consist of an inner and outer ring. The inner ring has a convex outer surface. The outer ring has a concave inner surface. This design gives the spherical slip bearings the ability to adapt to inconsistencies. Both the outer and internal rings of these bearings are made of steel.  Bearings with steel sliding contacts are wear-resistant and can withstand heavy loads. Spherical slip bearings are very useful in situations where it is necessary to compensate for angular inconsistencies or inaccuracies arising from load or vibrations. This type of bearing requires regular maintenance. To reduce friction and avoid contamination and corrosion, proper lubrication is required. Spherical slip bearings are often made of resistant materials such as steel or bronze, and use various lubricating materials to reduce friction and wear.
