Hydraulic Oil
Hydraulic oil is a special liquid used in hydraulic systems. The main purpose is to ensure the transmission of power in hydraulic systems, as well as to reduce the friction of system components, reduce friction and help dissipate heat, thus contributing to the comfort and durability of vehicle operation with other techniques. Different ends of the hydraulic system require different types or grades of hydraulic oil (lubricants) depending on their specifications.

Different ends of the hydraulic system require different types or grades of hydraulic oil (lubricants) depending on their specifications.
Changing the hydraulic oil is necessary to prevent hydraulic system failure due to contaminated oil. It is necessary to pay attention to the first signs of contamination:
- Atypical wear of seals and hydraulic hoses
- Leakage from cylinders, grooves or notches
- A noticeable increase in the amount of metal particles in the oil
- Pressure drop in the system
- Filters are often used
- Increased demand for spare parts
- Changes in circulation rate
- Oil leaks from compnnets
Timely recognition of these signs and performing an oil change can prevent expensive system repairs and ensure the longevity and efficiency of the hydraulic system.
The most commonly used viscosity classes of hydraulic oils:
ISO VG 32 – Hydraulic oil typically used in cooler environments or systems that require a more liquid oil for easier flow
ISO VG 46 - medium viscosity hydraulic oil suitable for use in various temperatures and general hydraulic applications
ISO VG 68 is a thicker hydraulic oil that is often used in systems that operate at higher pressures or temperatures
