Ferrules

Hydraulic pressing ferrules are important components that are used to fix hydraulic hoses to their nozzles. They press the hose to the nozzle, ensuring tightness and durability in the hydraulic system even under very high pressure. Ferrules are made of carbon steel, stainless steel, less often from brass. Carbon steel provides strength and wear resistance; stainless steel – as well as strength and wear resistance and resistance to aggressive environments, corrosion; brass – for low pressure and where it is necessary to avoid sparking. Ferrules are standardized according to the type of hydraulic hose, for example: 1SN, 2SN, 4SP, 4SH, R13, R15, complying with ISO, SAE, EN standards.
